Developments in technology hold many opportunities for British businesses. And almost as many pitfalls. So we created the Orange Future Enterprise Coalition, a panel of high profile industry experts and opinion leaders. They will look at organisational trends to see how emerging technology can enable positive change. And they will lead thinking and research about the role and impact of technology in business and culture.
The Future Enterprise Coalition will:
- commission research and generate penetrating insight into the impact of technology on individual businesses, and on the economy as a whole
- debate and discuss the importance of mobile data in business and push forward the mobile data agenda into businesses and sectors yet to grasp its transformative power
- lead a 'blue-sky' debate which challenges current thinking
what does the Future Enterprise Coalition produce?
The Future Enterprise Coalition and its research programme generates new ideas and tools for the mobile data industry.
It will cover issues such as:
- how organisations can manage the social issues to do with workers being 'always on'
- how organisations can create more flexibility whilst maintaining manageability and control
- how to ensure organisations are not rolling-out technology for technology's sake, but providing employees with tools to work more efficiently
the online forum - your chance to contribute
The findings of the coalition have stimulated debate and provided a platform to discuss the role and impact of technology on business - now and in the future.
It’s time to open this debate to a larger number of stakeholders to get a real sense of the challenges and opportunities facing organisations.
